Lavender essential oil is known as the “calming oil” and can promote sleep as well as soothe the occasional skin irritation and ease feelings of tension. Peppermint essential oil is invigorating, promotes healthy respiratory function, and activates the limbic function in your brain. Frankincense essential oil can support healthy cellular function, provide immune support and mood enhancement, and even be used as part of your skin care routine.
But what are Essential Oils?
Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. Known for their powerful aromas, they have also been used throughout history for therapeutic benefits. Modern day scientific study and trends towards more holistic approaches to wellness are driving a revival and new discovery of essential oil health uses. I favor pure therapeutic grade essential oils in my healthy living approach as they are natural, safe, and can support the body’s natural health functions.
What will this “Clean Living with Essential Oils” class cover?
During this 45-minute class, we will cover the basics of doTERRA essentials oils, including how to choose a quality oil, how to use them safely, and which essential oils can be part of your daily routine to support general health and wellness, skin care, mood support, cleaning, etc.
